Drawings
Almost any photograph can inspire an oil painting your family will treasure. But there are some photographs that make wonderful drawings, too. Look for photographs with strong contrasts and clear planes, like the one you see here.

Once you've chosen a photograph, a drawing might be your first choice. Or, you could decide that the preliminary sketch for for an oil would really make a better drawing. You may even choose both -- an oil painting for yourself and a drawing as a gift. No matter what combination you choose, the process is the same.

Send me one or more photographs. Once we've decided on one of them, a $250.00 deposit secures the sketch. If you decide on an oil painting, we'll discuss the final fee once you've seen the sketch. If you decide it's best rendered as a drawing, an additional $100.00 plus any shipping charges will be due when it's completed. In either case, the deposit will be applied to the final cost.
Thank you for your interest in TRoney Oils. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely,
